No doubt your way of earning a living is wonderful … work a few hours, reap the benefits for years But, from a financial point of view, it has a life cycle hence the POTENTIAL need (not knowing your full financial position) of using the active income to create a passive income stream that can eventually replace the royalty streams should they ever begin to run dry …

Mucho Gracias on the entry here. I do to invest my money as it comes in and realize that royalty monies have ups and downs. What I like about what I do is the expression of that creative part of me – that same creativity I believe we all have in side, jsut waiting to get out.

Keep in mind though, whether it’s “active income” or not, a few hours building a prototype or developing an idea over the course of a few weeks then enjoying the income when licensing it out is quite a feeling. One I’d like everyone to experience, but it’s up to y’all to decide.
