I&#039;m closing down my blog and just putting in an auto-forward to YOURS :) But, you have put it in a nutshell .... although, if you do the 7million7year &#039;thing&#039; you won&#039;t need your &#039;index fund thing&#039; TO RETIRE ... maybe, it&#039;ll become a nice tidy (albeit small&#039;ish) sum just to give to charity?</description>

I do the index fund thing when it comes to retirement, I also own a house and have cash savings on the side

Then I have my &quot;play money&quot; - risk-capital

As long as the family is taken care of first- (bills paid, savings and retirement), then it&#039;s my time to play!!!</description>
