Casting Call!
I had a couple of things in mind before I even started writing this blog, and one of them has just come to fruition!
… and, I want my regular readers to have a’preview’ of what I have in mind:
I call it my ‘grand experiment in millionaire-making’ – or 7m7y for short – as some of you will know by now, I have been ‘hinting’ at launching something like this … and, now it’s here (!) – and it’s simply this:
I want to help 7 ordinary people (readers of my blog, fellow bloggers, or just anybody who happens to come across this post) not just to become independently wealthy …
… I want to help create 7 Multi-Millionaires in just 7 Years!

That’s it … no tricks or scams of any kind.

Like 7million7years.com, this is NOT a Get Rich Quick site … it is a Get Rich(er) Qick(er) site – there is a big difference 
There are 7 Golden Rules that anybody who wishes to apply will need to follow … 7m7y.com – just like $7million7years.com – is NOT a money-making site for me or its participants … its not an excuse or a ’front’ to make product sales, consulting sales, advertising revenue, affiliate sales, and so on …
So, what’s in it for me? It’s a way to ‘give back’ and I do plan on eventually writing a book … any publishers out there

@ Sam – Thanks! Not sure about Richard Dennis, though – for a start, I’m not charging and this isn’t a training program … mentoring, maybe … power-of-crowds maybe … we’ll see how it develops.

@ Clint – Good question! See my comment to Sam … I am here to prove a point (for the benefit of all participants, be they one of the 7MITs, active commentors who will be free to both ask and answer questions, and regular followers): there is a Road Map to Wealth …
… YOU decide the destination (the when/how much), and the type of roads that you want to travel (stocks, business, job, blogging – the ways are many and varied), and I will act as your GPS-Navigator. The 7m7y.com site will be recording the various ‘trips’ so that others can follow along (a kind of Personal Finance ‘Lonely Planet’).
But, YOU have to drive and stay the course … assuming that you don’t see a nice little cul-de-sac half way and decide to hop off to take a snooze

When I first read about your new site, the first thing that popped into my mind was the “turtle traders” – a group of people from a variety of backgrounds who applied to learn commodities trading from Richard Dennis, a trader who made hundreds of millions of dollars and agreed to coach the people who were chosen from the pool of applicants.

I guess if you substitute “becoming wealthy” for “successful trading” and “7″ for “13″, “MITs” for “turtles”, and “self-made millionaires” for “commodity trading advisors” then we may have some loose comparison
although, I have no idea of Richard Dennis’ quality, ethics, motivation, or results, so I can’t compare … also, I have no political aspirations 
AJC, is admission on a rolling basis or is it sometime after June 2?
@ Joshua – I am giving my regular readers the ‘first shot’ that they deserve; then I’ll put out a Press Release in a couple of weeks, and will make the final round selections shortly thereafter. The intial application is fairly simple so, if you are interested, you should apply early. I’m hoping that it will be a great experience, all around …
